Renewal कब करना चाहिए

– Expiry से 1 वर्ष पहले renewal कर सकते हैं.
– Expiry के बाद भी renewal allowed (late fees नहीं).

– Old Passport (mandatory)
– Aadhaar
– Address Proof (Aadhaar / Electricity Bill / Rent Agreement)
– Marriage Certificate (यदि नाम बदलना हो)
– Passport Photos (अगर PSK में ली न जाए तो)

Passport Renewal Online Process (2025)

Step 1: Portal

https://passportindia.gov.in पर जाएँ.
“Existing User Login / New User Register”.

Step 2: Application Type

“Apply for Fresh Passport / Re-Issue of Passport” चुनें.
Renewal को Re-Issue माना जाता है.

Step 3: Form Fill

– Personal details
– Address
– Emergency contact
– Required changes (नाम/पता)
– Booklet type: 36 pages / 60 pages
– Normal या Tatkaal

Step 4: Document Upload

PDF/JPEG में: Old Passport + Address Proof.
Self-attested copies.

Step 5: Appointment Booking

Nearest PSK / POPSK का स्लॉट चुनें.
Tatkaal में जल्दी उपलब्धता मिलती है.

Step 6: PSK Visit

– Token
– Document check
– Biometric + Photo
– Final approval

Police Verification कब जरूरी:

Verification नहीं लगता:
– Simple renewal (same address + clean record)
